Why the inside matters.
Flat networks
Once inside, nothing stops a crew moving from a laptop to the servers.
Passwords left lying around
Credentials in file shares, scripts and memory that open the next door.
One click away
A single compromised laptop can become control of the whole domain.
How the job runs.
Assume the breach
We start from an ordinary staff laptop, as if a phishing email had worked.
Move like a crew
Every route from that laptop to more access, followed to the end.
Stay within the lines
We agree what’s off limits before we start, and prove access without disrupting your work.
Report and retest
The paths, the evidence and the fixes in order, and a retest once they’re closed.
When to call us.
- After infrastructure changes or a cloud migration
- Before a compliance audit
- Every year, as PCI DSS and NIS2 expect
- When you haven’t changed testing provider in a while
On its own or all year?
It’s part of the baseline in every year-round plan, and tested again when it changes.

Questions.
What is an assumed breach test?
A test that starts from inside, as if an attacker already had a foothold, usually a normal staff laptop. It shows what one successful phishing email would really cost.
Is this the same as an Active Directory assessment?
They overlap. An internal test follows every route an attacker could take. An Active Directory assessment maps every permission path in your directory, including the ones a test might not need.
